This isn't just about inflation, and it's certainly not about getting paid. The Sky Mountain Vaulters want to continue because vaulting is what we love! On top of that, we're always recruiter more people to the sport, whether they come practice with us or join another team. However, many things the team needs to keep going cost money, and having only 3 or 4 people paying for everything doesn't work very well.
Here are some of the things we need help paying for:
- diesel and gas to haul horses, equipment and people to shows and competitions
- equipment that gets used regularly (tack, vaulting surcingles, padding, hula hoops, jump ropes, uniforms and vaulting shoes all need replacing on a regular basis)
- hotel stays for shows and competitions away from home (we not talking about the Hilton here!)
- supplements/hoof care to keep the horses healthy
- web hosting, public relations, advertising
We are actively seeking donations, corporate sponsors, grants, fund-raising opportunities, and anything else we can think of in order to keep this team going. Help us continue to give kids and adults from all walks of life the opportunity to build strength, stamina, balance and confidence through the fantastic sport of vaulting!
